Pattern License & Permitted Use

When you purchase a digital pattern, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased pattern for your own personal creative use, subject to the product-specific terms stated on its product page.

Prohibited Use of Digital Files

Unless you have written permission from the applicable rights holder, you may not:

• Resell or redistribute purchased pattern files.
• Upload purchased files to public websites, file-sharing services, social media, marketplaces, or groups.
• Share purchased files with friends, customers, students, communities, or other third parties.
• Claim the pattern files or their original instructions as your own work.
• Modify, reproduce, or distribute the files for the purpose of creating a competing digital product.

Intellectual Property

The Stitch Library website, branding, logos, original written content, graphics, and other materials created or provided by Stitch Library remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Some patterns sold through Stitch Library may be created by independent designers or other rights holders. In those cases, the applicable designer or rights holder retains the rights associated with their work, subject to the license granted with your purchase.

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to the purchaser.
